About Me
Who Am I?
I am an Accredited EMDR therapist, currently working towards becoming an Accredited EMDR consultant, with regular supervision from an Accredited EMDR consultant.
I am also a qualified and Registered Mental Health Nurse with over 25 years of experience working for the NHS.
Following qualifying as a nurse (RMN) In 2002, I have gained experience working in a variety of settings. This has included working ina community Mental Health Team, In-Patient Acute Mental Health Wards, a Psychotherapy Department, Mental Health Liason Service, Eating Disorder Service, and Secure Services.
Since qualifying, I have continued to work in the NHS In a variety of roles, including the following:
- 2002 – Staff Nurse
- 2002 – Community Nurse (Prison Service)
- 2014 – Nurse Therapist (Prison Service)
- 2018 – Mental Health Liaison Team Manager
- 2020 – Mortality and Incident Review Practitioner
- 2023 – Psychotherapist (Eating disorder service)
